  For composite decking, we like materials that provide durability, low maintenance, consistent appearance, and strong manufacturer warranties.

  For framing, we typically use pressure-treated lumber along with appropriate structural hardware, galvanized connectors, bolts, flashing, and joist protection where required

  Yes. Composite decking can be a good low-maintenance option, and many composite products incorporate recycled materials.

  The major advantage is reduced maintenance compared with traditional wood. You don’t typically need the same level of staining or sealing.

  Our team has extensive hands-on construction experience, and we have been building and renovating outdoor spaces for more than a decade.

  We also stay familiar with current construction requirements and manufacturer installation specifications. Our projects are overseen by an experienced project manager, with the goal of making sure the installation is completed correctly—not simply quickly.

  Where licensing or permits are required by the municipality, we follow the applicable New Jersey requirements

  Warranty coverage depends on the scope and materials used.

  For projects where we install new framing and materials, applicable manufacturer warranties are passed along to the homeowner, and our workmanship warranty covers the work according to the terms of the contract.

  For certain projects involving existing framing, we can provide a 10-year workmanship warranty on the framing we perform or modify, while new materials may carry longer manufacturer warranties.

  Payment terms depend on the project and are clearly outlined in the contract.

  For many projects, our standard payment structure is 30% deposit and 70% upon completion. Credit card payments may be subject to a 3.5% processing fee.

  Any available discounts or promotional pricing are discussed directly with the customer and depend on the specific project

  New Jersey weather can be tough on outdoor structures. Freeze-thaw cycles, heavy rain, snow, humidity, and temperature changes can all affect decking, framing, drainage, and foundations.

  Footings need to account for local frost-depth requirements, and proper drainage and flashing are especially important to prevent water from getting into the structure or house.

  Electrical work, lighting, and other components must also comply with applicable local and state requirements

  Yes. We provide full demolition and disposal of existing decks as part of deck replacement projects.

• ▼ What warning signs mean I need deck replacement now vs. it can wait?

  Warning signs that deserve immediate attention include rotting structural framing, loose or damaged railings, unstable stairs, significant movement, deteriorated posts or footings, serious ledger damage, or areas where water has caused major structural deterioration.

  Cosmetic issues such as faded decking, minor surface damage, or loose non-structural components may sometimes be repairable.

  The customer has a direct point of contact throughout the project, and we communicate regarding scheduling, progress, inspections, material selections, and any unexpected conditions that are discovered.
